この物語は中国の広大な土地の小さな村に住むリンが主人公です。
リンは伝説の「願いを叶える５つの玉」を見つけるために、世界中に冒険することに決めました。
父親から受け継いだ古地図と冒険家の血を引く勇気を持ち合わせています。
友達のジャンと一緒に中国中を旅しながら伝説の５つの玉を探し始めます。
古地図の行先は中国の雲南省にある石林でした。リンとジャンは山を登り、森を抜け、滝を越えて、石林にたどり着きました。
そこで一人の老人と出会います。老人は伝説の５つの玉がどこにあるかを知っていると言いました。
ですがそれを教えるためには老人の考えた3つの試練をクリアしなければならないと言いました。
最初の試練は石林を抜けることです。
岩の迷路を抜け、落ちそうな崖を登り、洞窟の中を進んでいき最後に一面に広がる美しい湖にたどり着きました。
そこで2つ目の試練が待ち受けています。
湖の中央にある小島に泳いで渡り、難しい謎を解きました。
そして最後の試練は湖の近くにある寺院で老人と戦わなければなりませんでした。
老人は武術の達人だったのです。ですが２人は協力して何とか老人を倒し試練をクリアします。
老人は２人の才能を確認できたので玉が雲南省の南部にあると教えました。
次の目的地に向かいます。山々を越え、川を渡り、草原を進みます。
そして１つめの伝説の玉が隠されていると思われる古い城にたどり着きました。
そこで中国の古代の歴史と文化について学びながら玉を見つけるために探索を続けていると玉を守る怪物に襲われます。
リンとジャンは怪物に立ち向かい最後には何とか勝利します。
そして城の中に隠された秘密の部屋を見つけます。
そこでついに伝説の「願いを叶える玉」を見つけます。
しかし玉を手に入れる前に最後の試練が待ち受けていました。
試練は玉を手に入れるには代償を支払わなければならないということでした。
それぞれの玉を手に入れるためにはリンたちが持っている最も大切なものを犠牲にしなければならないと言われました。
- 1つ目の玉は友人：自分たちの友人を犠牲にして、玉を手に入れることができます。
- 2つ目の玉は健康：自分たちの健康を犠牲にして、玉を手に入れることができます。
- 3つ目の玉はお金：自分たちのお金を犠牲にして、玉を手に入れることができます。
- 4つ目の玉は信念：自分たちの信念を犠牲にして、玉を手に入れることができます。
- 5つ目の玉は夢：自分たちの夢を犠牲にして、玉を手に入れることができます。
リンとジャンは玉を手に入れるために代償を支払うことに決めます。
リンたちは１つ目の玉を手に入れ代償を払いました。そして２人は友人としての関係を失いましたが村に玉を持って帰り、村の仲間へ渡しました。
リンは村人たちに冒険の物語を語り玉を使って願いを叶えるためには自分が持っていたものを犠牲にしなければならなかったことを伝えました。
人生で大切なものが何であるかについて考えましたが、願いを叶えるために次の玉も探しに行くことに決めました。
ジャンは既に、玉を探しに旅立ってしまっていました。
友情を犠牲にする選択をしたせいで次の冒険では玉を奪い合う関係になってしまったのです。
さらに２人が玉を持っていること聞きつけた悪者たちが彼らが次に取ろうとしている玉を狙っています。
幼少期から共に過ごしてきたリン達は互いに支えあわなければ何も成し遂げられないという事に気が付きました。
玉を手に入れるために支払った代償を無効にする方法がないか考えるようになりました。
そこでリンは再び老人の元を訪れ、相談しました。
老人は東の方にいる２頭の龍を１人ずつが倒すことで友情が元に戻るとリンに教えました。
更に、なんとつい先ほどジャンも同じ事を聞きに訪れていたのだと言いました。
その後、無事に龍を倒したリンとジャンは再び友情を取り戻しさらにたくさんの冒険を経験することになります。
玉を手に入れたことで多くの冒険家たちから注目を集めることになり新しい冒険の扉が開かれます。
様々な国々を訪れさまざまな文化や風景を経験しながら新しい仲間や敵と出会い様々な試練に立ち向かいます。
時には困難に直面し互いに助け合いながら、さらに強い絆で結ばれていくことになります。
玉を集める旅はまだまだ続き新たな冒険が待っています。
しかし２人は再び友情を取り戻したことでどんな困難にも立ち向かえる強さを持っています。
この冒険が２人にとって素晴らしいものとなることを期待しています。
この作品は「昔の中国が舞台でカンフー使いの二人の子供が願いが叶うとされる秘宝を探しに冒険する物語を創作して」と指示し複数パターンの物語を生成しながら良さげな箇所を繋ぎ合わせて一つにしました。
最初は某有名アニメに設定が似ていたので丸パクリにならないのか心配でしたが、完全な別作品に昇華してくれたので安心しました。
それどころか私の期待をはるかに越えたクオリティを次々と出してきたので驚きました。不採用にした設定もあり、そっちの世界線でも面白そうだと思いましたが最終的にこれでまとまりました。
ChatGPTは膨大なデータから文章を生成するとの事ですが、この物語はどのような作品を参考にしたのでしょうか。恐らく色々な作品の学習データを原型がわからない程度にアレンジして提供しているのかと思います。
特に願いを叶えるためには代償が必要という設定とか、犠牲にしなくてはいけない物の種類のチョイスが自分の発想には無かったので新鮮に感じました。
AIの力で様々な既存の設定を組み合わせて即興で新しい創作物を作りだすという事の凄さを改めて見せつけられた感じがする作品となりました。
さて、この物語の内容の感想についてですが、リンとジャンが簡単に友情を犠牲にするという選択をしたのは幼い頃から共に過ごした二人の強い絆があれば、再び友情を取り戻せる自信があったのかもしれませんね。AIにそこまでの意図はないとは思いますが私には何故だかそんな気がしてしまいました。
そしてせっかく手に入れた秘宝が自分たちではなく村の皆のために手に入れようとしてたっぽい展開も予想外で驚きました。
こんな犠牲を払ってでも２人が叶えたい願い事がどのような願い事なのか。
今後が気になる終わり方で２つ目以降の玉探しの冒険も気になってしまい漫画化して欲しいと思えるような物語でした。
